Adjustments

Our Doctors were trained in many methods of Adjustments.  They adjust all regions of the body and the extremities using various different adjustments best suited for the type of person, type of condition and the type of trauma which has occurred to the patient.  Our doctors are trained to recognize when an injury is outside their scope of practice and will refer patients to other appropiate medical specialist if necessary.

Activator method
Our Doctors have activator tools which are specially designed tools that can be set to very low force for infants and children and elderly patients which respond more favorably to low force adjustments. The tools can set to very few pounds up to 38 pounds force for adjusting. These unique handheld tools are extremely precise for aligning misaligned vertebrae.

Diversified Chiropractic techniques
Our Doctors are trained in the diversified technique of detecting and adjusting vertebrae.  Classic technique developed by D.D. Palmer using dynamic thrust to move the vertebrae back into alignment usually an audible pop can be heard when the vertebrae is moved.

Logan Method
A light touch technique that works to level the foundation of the sacrum.

Lumbo-pelvic technique
Technique used to adjust any manipulative lesion in the joints of the lumbar spine and pelvis.
Lumbo-pelvic distortions are attributed to the postural alteration, leg-length inequality, tilting of the lumbar vertebrae, loss of mobility, and other lesions that require manipulation over the pelvis and lower back.

Drop table method
The patient lies on a special table with sections that drop down.  The chiropractor applies a quick thrust  at the same section drops.  The dropping table allows for a lighter adjustment without the twisting positions that can accompany other techniques.

Toggle Drop
Using cross hands the doctor presses down firmly on the spine to improve mobility and the joints.

Lumbar Roll (side posture)
The doctor positions the patient on his or her side then applies quick and precise manipulative thrust the
misaligned vertebrae, returning it to its proper position.

Release Work
The doctor uses gentle finger pressure to separate vertebrae.
